Scarlet dances naked on the stage and shared her tremendously difficult journey with us all. You two were definitely contemporaries in so many ways. Love to you both!

Great Stuff Rob, being an introverted nerd myself, I never really gravitated towards the raves/party scene here in the Koots. That being said, I always appreciated the unique burlesque culture Scarlet branded and the magnetic way she held herself on that stage. You are a very talented writer. Keep writing.

She was able to directly empower people to push beyond their comfort zone, get into their physicality, and shine. This community was so fortunate to receive the gift of her art. Wow! Rob! What a beautiful heartfelt tribute to a sister! She was a remarkable woman and a trail blazer right until the end. A living wake with her beloveds. What a gift to have control of your own inevitable fate and to be so brave to face it head on and make the best of the worst scenario. A shining star….Shine on Scarlet❤️

Scarlet is so incredible. Still. Such a trail blazer in every.single.area of her life! I was often intimidated by her for the first few years. She asked me to do these artist interviews at the Hubb, and I got so nervous. I don't regret, but I admire her courage and sense of freedom around people and the stage. What a true gift she was. I've never had an experience around someone passing like this. Thank you Scarlet! Thank you Rob for writing this. It's sooooo beautiful and vulnerable. xoxo
Thank you for this! I hear you when you say you were intimidated. She really got in there and demanded people step into the limelight. It came so naturally to her. Part of her medicine was in helping others to find their place in the limelight. She had so much respect for you, and your art.

Yes-was thinking about this today - how she inspired so many to face their fears and really live fully in the present. And in her passing, again, she showed us how to face our fears of the ultimate unknown and die consciously, with purpose, in beauty, encircled by community.
